Where do you have 175 Roy Jones among the LHW's H2H all time?

Can 175 Roy Jones h2h crack the top 5 light heavyweights?

I don't see him beating Spinks,Foster,Moore,or Moorer. Could possibly be top 5 h2h.

Somewhere in the mix of the top 10. He's got a shot against any of them, honestly, but I'd expect him to lose to Charles, Spinks, and Foster at least. There's a few others that are a bit more difficult to predict. For instance, you'd really have to worry about him against Moore, but he's more than capable of getting ole' Archie out of there first. Tough to say how that one goes down.

    Top three.

The guy was a nightmare. Lightning in a bottle. Gifted with God's own great talent, and had all the ego necessary to use it to an infuriating degree of success.

I'd give Charles, Spinks, and Foster the best chances to beat him. Conn and Jones would be a pick em.

The rest, I couldn't lay down money against Roy.

In terms of resume, not top 10.

Head to head, he's comfortably in the top 10. He wins some, loses some against the guys mentioned.

A agree Charles, Spinks, Foster have the highest probability of winning, but he's still at risk against anyone that would be considered in the top 10.

    He's a monster.

Head to head he places pretty high... Legacy wise probably lower part of the top 10 or just outside it.. Not sure how he does against the absolute elite of the division, meaning Spinks, Moore, Charles, etc.. He was very impressive at easily beating Grade B level oppositon, but I'm not sure that we ever really saw him against a prime Grade A light heavyweight.. In the lower weight classes he did manage to beat a prime James Toney, a somewhat green B-Hop and a few others. But I don't know how these things reflect on how he'd do against a true elite light heavy.

I have never got my head round it to be honest.

He might have theoreticaly beaten anybody, but on the other hand there were always underlying weaknesses, that might have been exposed and exploited by the kind of fighters in this argument.

    :D

I can picture the big grin on Dwight's face as he goes looking for the nearest bar whilst Roy is being given oxygen & wondering why he didnt become a full-time rapper.

i'm one of jones' biggest fans but to me charles and spinks would give him the most trouble at 175. obviously all great fighters would have a reasonable chance vs each other but spinks' size and charles' talent and speed would give roy hell. a lot of people say foster would give him trouble because of his size and big punch and maybe they're right but i can't point to anyone of foster's wins to prove he'd be able to beat jones.

at 168, i think roy could beat anyone who's ever fought at that weight.
