some say (I am one of those) he should be considered undfeated, I like Huck, but he didnt win 7 out of 12 rounds vs denis. so where does beating up old legends and champ bring him up?
okay, he beat Huck (who is amongs the 4 best cruisers in the world) toney & roy and he beat also young strong guys like that **** dude and marcanelli. for me, since I favour him over USS and Hernandez, he is on his way entering the p4p top 15 when he is finaly the undisputed champion at cruiser. as far as now. around 20
#97 My P4P top 100: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=373863 EDIT: But he will be moving up a little by virtue of those around him plus me seeing some things in his game I previously didn't which shift my opinion a tad.
come on now.. i think lebedev is very good.. but his resume speaks for itself.. He is nowhere near top 50.
In no real order as i havent given p4p lists much thought, more of all the fighter i belive are p4p better than Lebedev Mayweather Pacquiao Cotto Martinez Donaire Gamboa Bradley Khan Peterson W Klitschko V Klitschko Ward Froch Kessler Hopkins Rigondeuax Dawson Pascal Chisora Rios Ortiz Berto Marquez Hernandez Afolabi Huck (I believe he just about edged the 1st) Adamek Arreola Salido etc. I could go on, but without a big win Lebedev is sadly way down on the p4p rankings
Roy Jones Jr. and James Toney are huge wins. Its like saying well he beat Joe Louis but Louis was a little passed his prime. He's still Joe Louis. Its a really big win. Look how long Hopkins or George Formeman or even Vitali Klitschko went to fight at a very high level.
RJJ is about 8 9 years out of his prime or if you want it he is totally shot, and same goes for James Toney. By your standards Berbick win over Ali is amazing
