Not to kellerman or Roy Jones Jr who want that matchup, and they are the biggest roman gonzalez supporter around!
Yeah, but just think about what you are saying. The man would have to move into a fifth or sixth weight class to beat him. It's like criticizing Duran for not being a great middleweight and losing to Hagler. You are as much as saying that he's p4p the best in the sport right now. That's the definition of pound for pound, that you'd have to move a fighter up several divisions to beat him. The only two other guys who've done that and are currently active are Pacquiao and Donaire who when they did that were ranked at the top p4p, and they've both seen better days.
He's already lost to caudras and estrada, none of either are extremely talented boxers, he was outboxed by caudras imo, and kellerman who is the biggest fan there is of roman says this This content is protected
complete nonsense! roman is the same height as rigo and out weighs him on fight night, rigo doesn't re hydrate, why is it that roy jones jr and kellerman totally disagree with you?
Whoever's alt you are, I think you should go back to trolling in Golovkin, Ward, or Mayweather threads. Not enough people care about the lower weights or about Gonzalez for you to really rile them up like you can with the others. I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt before because I figured you could be young and dumb, or from the run, hug, tag school of boxing philosophy and unable to appreciate an aggressive technician like Gonzalez. But you showed your hand when you said that Cuadras and Estrada aren't good boxers. Estrada arguably belongs in the top 10 p4p with Gonzalez and has proved it by beating a who's who of the sport at flyweight. Cuadras just gave a great performance against one of the best fighters in the game and had previously gone 35 and 0 including several title fights.
The winner of Kovalev vs Ward will be #1. I'd say Gonzalez is in the top 5. Maybe just behind Crawford and Lomachencko.
Alts? what is that? and no I find it funny how your making excuses when kellerman and jones are saying the complete opposite and actually thinking logically and no you probably don't understand boxing much, and believe what ever hbo tell you or sell to you roman is a pressure fighter, look at his face http://photo.*******.com/uploads/cuadras-gonzalez.jpg He's not a particularly skillful boxer or counter puncher, he overwhelms you with punches, that's his style you need a serious education in real boxing! mate and gonzalez record? his last 11 opponents have an average of 9 losses each! cuadras and estrada are mexican boxers mexican schooled boxers, who aren't anywhere near the most talented or skilled boxers, there are amateurs right now who would outclass roman gonzalez
@ovids exile does this like this the face of the most complete and best skilled boxer This content is protected everyone knows he's not p4p the best it's all marketing
Dude just made history being the first Nicaraguan to capture 4 titles in 4 weight divisions. And put on a hell of a performance but you want him to continue to move up to justify him being p4p #1. LMFAO you're the worst boxing fan I've ever seen. Tell me who on the p4p list currently has done more than that?
He's still number one. Gonzalez marked up against a bigger, stronger, faster guy...And that's to be expected. But he still carried the majority of rounds (I had it 7-4-1) against the bigger, stronger, faster guy. And he came back to win the 12th after getting hurt to the body in the 11th. Finding a way to defeat a bigger, stronger, faster guy is the definition of p4p. Right now, no one this year as a better victory over a higher caliber of opponent. That may change, but right now he's still in the top position as far as I'm concerned.
He's still number 1 until Ward Kov and that depends on who wins and how. Roman won his 4th world title at a weight far too big for him and he pressed the champ got lumped up and won. ?Who else is doing that today?
