I agree he is probably top 5. People who were on his nuts around the time that HBO got on his nuts don't realize that the lower weight classes are fairly sparse in terms of top quality opposition. Most of Chocolatito's opponents were of the quality that would be considered journeymen in higher weight classes. Chocolatito would of had a big problem with guys like Donaire, or Darchinyan if he had of came up during their era. His defense isn't very good as we saw the other night. Cuadras gave him the pumpkin face. Chocolatito would get seriously injured by a guy like Rigondeaux.
are you seriously delusional now or what? so all 10 of those fights were tune ups?, look at the quality of guy's he's been fighting, blanquet has had 7 losses in a row, he's fought lots of guys with records like that! it's funny you mention rodriguez what about the other guys records, and i didn't pick and chose, those fighters were listed in order, your clearly extremely biased what about ronald barrera he had 12 losses when he fought gonzalez, kantun had 6, purisma has had 6 losses in a row! please your bias is just reeking through
The 5 best pound for pound boxers should include, rigondeaux, Ward, Lara, maybe crawford although he was outboxed by gamboa, kovalev maybe!
If you know about it's marketing, then you should know Canelo is a perfect example about that. If you're a real fan as you claim, then you should know Canelo is not even considered the best boxer from Mexico atm, Cuadras and Estrada are the same or above Canelo's league. Cuadras' performance against the #1 fighter alone eclipses anything Canelo has ever done. Lara lost to Molina and had his chance against Canelo and he blew it. He almost got stopped by Caveman Jesus Angulo ffs!
The amount of casuals on this site is insane, 46-0? up until he fought viloria at that point of his career his last 10 opponents had an average of 9.3 losses each, roman gonzalez has a record of wins vs guys that would be considered journeymen, but with the hbo machine alot of casuals are fooled, does this look the definition of p4p? This content is protected roman gonzalez could literally only dream of being as good as ward and his record is no where near wards
what a horrendous post! Caudras used to be trained by robert Garcia, and garcia never thought much of him, no one in boxing would considere caudras on canelo's level, he's fought the best like lara and floyd cotto etc, Roman just clearly lost to caudras and a lot are calling it a robbery, so ironic your trolling about lara and canelo, yet that was a fight no one considers a win for canelo, not evenmexicans like ray mancini or robert guerro! to call gonzalez #1 is disuting insult to the truly best fighters
so you'd disagree with that list? what's it gotta do with cubans? Rigo is in nearly everyone's top 5 and lara should also!
I haven't been following the Olympic thread, but I've seen on one of my threads a poster said there were alot of racist posters or white power posters you were listed as one of them I think, biased lomachenko fans, I posted a thread about julio la cruz, and someone said there were a lot of haters on here like you! don't worry I don't take your biased nonsense to serious, the stats I've posted prove your wrong any way
your right I'm still laughing at your posts from this thread, straight comedy, and biased nonsense you were even trolling in the other thread called I Had Carlos Cuadras Beating Roman Gonzalez... "He didn't throw enough punches. His corner pleaded with him to just throw more punches. That's all he had to do IMO... He was the bigger man, but he was moving too much."
