Where do you have Terence Crawford in ATG ranking?

He beat everyone he could get in front of him. He can do no more. Big fish in a small pond era, I guess.

 

Not sure about all time ranking, but for this millenium, he's tied with Usyk for the #3 spot right behind Mayweather and Pacquaio.

 

I think he’s better than Pacquiao and Mayweather when you sit back and look objectively at all his fights.

Look at the Jeff Horn fight. I thought the fight was prematurely stopped by the ref but Terrance could not be stopped.

His skills are under appreciated.

I don’t rate the Errol Spence fight that great looking back. Should have happened sooner IMO.

. He’s never taken any serious damage.

 

He is simply a tremendous fighter.

However, all the official accolades in the world, aren't going to change the fact that he has a poor resume.

Yes, it's not his fault.

Yes, it's rare to become an undisputed champion. And especially in multiple divisions. But at the same time, we simply have to look at who he fought to obtain those belts.

Top 20 all time is huge.

Tommy's win over Duran was a horrible stylistic and size match up.

However, it was still a great feat, considering that Duran was level with a prime Marvin for 12 rounds, and then he beat Barkley at the weight above, 5 years later.

Tommy also has wins over Benitez and Hill, and he was robbed of a win over Leonard in their rematch.

 

I wouldn't say that Floyd and Manny could easily have beaten him.

I think that's a huge assumption.

I don't think it was that close.

Terence was quite aggressive and offensive.

It was a great win.

He definitely has a weak resume though.

 

That's a big statement.

In terms of technical skills, you could say that he was better than Manny.

But Floyd??

He also obviously fought much lesser overall opposition.

Don't get me wrong, I do think that Hearns' win over Duran is still a great one. But trying to discredit Crawford's win over Canelo on the basis of size and Canelo being past his best, right after praising Hearns' win over Duran is just being inconsistent and unfairly holding them to different standards.

 

Canelo might not be done yet.

If he does something significant, the win will look even better.
