Marciano was at the top, he also beat Joe Louis, although Louis was not at his prime, he was still a real threat to anyone...............

    Sorry

    I rank:

Louis, Walcott,Moore, and Charles above part time fighters like a pastry chef, teacher, and a bartender .

    You don't? That's in you

You are a buffoon if you think that 39 year old Moore, 38 year old Walcott, and 37 year old Louis are in or anywhere near their respective primes. How much do you think a win over a 39 year old Pacquiao is currently worth? Marciano is the Jeff Horn of heavyweight champions.

There's an argument for Top 15 HW p4p (not h2h), but p4p top 15 of all time across all weights? Not even remotely close.

Anyone who rags on Marciano is either an idiot or never did any research.

He beat everyone put in front of him, which is all you can ask for.

Last I checked, he fought 8 guys in the top 10 rated by Ring Magazine.

    Walcott twice
    Louis
    Charles twice
    Moore
    Cockell
    Matthews
    La Starza twice
    Layne

    11-0, 9 KO’s

    End of discussion.

To be fair to Marciano, at least he knocked those guys out. It's not fair saying he's the Jeff Horn of HW, when at least 50% thought Pac won. But then again.. Pac at this age is probably far better condition wise than those guys back in the 40's/50's.

The fact he compared Marciano to Horn means he’s legitimately brain dead.

small fists, tree trunk thighs, dude's basically a ball-peen hammer with a rocket strapped to it. You describe Marciano in one word; inhuman.

People will always sleep on Marciano. It is natural for people to accept easy and lazy answers, it is incredible easy for someone to take hold of evidence that supports their assumption and stop. No need to explain things further or understand anything, you've found a bit of evidence that supports something you already assumed so you're more than armed for forum chats.

On the surface of things Marciano challenges a lot of theories. Theories most of youse hold and cling to as if they make and break boxers. It is not often I see Marciano called out for what he truly is though. Marciano broke theory. Marciano rewrote the script and brought a whole new type of fighter to boxing. That's what really burns folks asses. The fact that Marciano is so very wrong by every metric they know to measure puts a motivation in many to try and detract. Often, what they claim would stop him is just an exaggerated form of what failed to. There's a reason why Marciano won three back-to-back fight of the year awards alongside his three fighter of the year awards. Broke the code, should have been beaten. Marciano was never meant to win the title he was meant to lose, he got battered from pillar to post often, and rather than investigate what actually went wrong for those men it is easy for the ignorant man to assume just a little more in whatever aspect he holds dear would have stopped Marciano. Often from my perspective they describe something that works in both directions as if it is solely the asset ot the fighter they purpose to beat Marciano. Like size. It's not often you get a decent size debate. No one talks about how X actually uses his size they just say "X was a big man who was good at using his size" If you're big and you're going at Marciano counting on fighting the classic big man fight with the posturing and positioning and all then you're working right into Marciano's trap. No man is tough enough to eat bullets and Marciano does throw bullets so you'd better drum up a stylistic reasoning. Otherwise your lovely giant has just as much chance of knocking him own self out on Marciano fist as he does catching Rock. If all you can say is him big and him good you've left it too vague to build a fight off. Period, I just stopped giving a **** about your opinion because you lack the ability to even describe that opinion.

That said, I favor the codebreakers. Glaukos is the original you can have plans until that right hand lands in the sport. They are all my favorites. They represent holes in the theory. It's why I'm a Wilder fan. In three thousand years, that's a long ass ****in' time and a lot of generations, spanning the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia, most of the men you speak about be them GOAT or bum or somewhere in between will have needed the sweet science to be successful. Most, but not Rocco. He has his own script.

    Couldn’t say it better.

There’s a reason pundits and past/current fighters rate him highly. I don’t care if Joe Blow from ESB says he sucks.

There’s a lot of truth in your post but Rocky had a name for one of his punches...how cool is that? That in itself makes him an ATG ;)
