You may be right, but to my knowledge, the ATG list doesn't go by who would win in a hypothetical fight. It's all about accomplishments. Loma hasn't accomplished enough as a pro to break the top 100. Fantastic fighter that started his pro career late and just doesn't fight enough.

Maybe the most skilled of all time but he needs to do far more to be one of the greatest. Saddest thing is... hes probably past his prime now.

Even if you include his amateur career?
396 amateur wins and 2 gold medals does count for something at least

Let his career play out. In the mean time, who had more skills is the better question? The list will be short.

    Skills wise?

You could pretty much argue him as high as you want. The man is unreal.

    Legacy wise?

Nowhere important. Unfortunately the greatest of the great typically have 40 + fights on their resume, and a 14 fight resume - even a high level one - isn't going to cut it.

Not even in the top 100. His resume just isn't strong enough.

Unfortunately for his legacy his one main scalp he could of taken went to 147 to fight Spence instead.

The competition isn’t fantastic right now but if he unified the division it would certainly improve his legacy.

Favourite fighter to watch though right now.

    Future p4p HOF

He needs to clean out all these youngsters first though.

Eke out 3 fights a year until his mid 30s when he starts to fade then call it a day legacy complete.

I never heard as such thing ranking a fighter's atg status due to his amateur career...

Agreed, his pro resume is so thin it's required to drag in his amateur career to boost the argument. Geez if you include his amateur career Mark Breland rises a few dozen spots
