Get ready for the forum to get flooded by Crawford threads.

Where would you rank him at 147 all time?

After tonight's performance he's a handful for anyone. Best jab I have ever seen in the division. Even better than Quartey's and dare I say Tommy's. Of course his era is not as popular as others but if you look at pure skillset he can compete with anyone.

Oh yeah in a h2h sense he's a problem for basically anyone. Not sure where he ranks based on resume because he hasn't spent that much time in the division compared to others.

Well. he’s spent a surprising amount of time in the division in terms of years now - 5 years since he picked up the WBO title - but that encompasses a total of 8 fights, which isn’t a lot in comparison with past greats. He has some decent-ish wins prior to this one but obviously this was the biggest and best win of his career.

Yeah I meant more so in fights than in years.

i havent seen a statement making performance like that in a long time. he made what was 50-50 on paper a clinical beatdown

defensively sound, straight accurate punches that sting. his stock has raised tremendously

its a shame he couldnt get a big fight like this sooner.

still not sure how i rate him overall but damn hes an interesting fight for the likes of floyd, manny, oscar, tito

i really do not see who beats him of the available crop of guys, maybe he can be caught cold in the first round while analyzing his opponent but i saw charlos face ringside and i dont think he wants any of that

Not sure. Had Spence won I think a case for him being top 10 could've been made, seeing as he's been a career welter who beat better welterweight names than Crawford.

Crawford still has some decent wins against Porter, Brook and... Uh... Jeff Horn maybe? That's kinda it when it comes to his best wins apart from Spence. I guess he should probably be in or around the top 20. Spence has been the guy at welter (atleast in terms of resume) for awhile so that gives a big boost to Buds resume, but outside of Spence there's isn't a whole lot

I'd rather wait it out he just had his biggest win and an ATG performance so it's easy to overrate him now. He's clearly a HOFer no question after tonight but I feel silly saying he'd beat prime SRL, Hearns, SRR,etc

I don't even know if he'd beat a prime Donald Curry but all of this is speculation on fights that can't happen anyways. Much respect to him this performance again I haven't seen anything comparable at the weight since Pacquiao/Cotto maybe? I had fun tonight great PPV, historic night.

I think we can call him a great fighter now.I won't attempt to rank him until he retires. Remember Don Curry?

Cotto was mentally(if not physically) damaged after margarito and the fight was at 145 not 147. Also cotto had more sucess than spence, who wasnt competitve at the slightest.
All of that being said its still a tremedous win and performance by pacquiao, which just highlights how impressive crawfords win was

That's fair was always annoyed w Pacquiaos catch weights but also astounded by his performances around that time.
