I don't get it. Are you agreeing with me that Linares is overrated or saying that Linares has been great lately????

Personally Linares has done **** all in his career up to this point.

Fair enough. But do you see my point about Hatton vs. Pac. Your reasoning in compiling your P4P list is flawed. Does that mean those who think Winky can/will beat P-Dub should put Winky in the top 10??? Surely not.

    Hey, Woods ain't that bad!!!!

    Johnson ain't too bad either!!!

I'd put Linares instead of Johnson and Vivian Harris instead of Woods!!!

By the way, Roman Gonzalez, what you think of him p4pdabest. surprised he isn't in Asero's top 30, his win over Niida is great AND he measures up well H2H.

i've only been wrong once in my list...that was when the ring ranked bhop higher than pav and pav was the heavy favorite...

other than that, the higher ranked fighter is always favored to beat the lower ranked fighter...thus lopez over caballero...

so i guess my rationale makes some sense...i hard to put caballero higher than lopez when you know that lopez would beat caballero...
when you are #1 p4p fighter you are not suppose to lose, same goes for lopez caballero senario..they put caballero higher, so meaning he must most likely best lopez

    Okay, hypothetical situation.

    1. A
    2. B
    3. C
    4. D

A has beaten B and C. B and C have both beaten D. D however, is a stylistic nightmate for A and can beat him, even though he has been K.O'd in a single round by both B and C, who had no chance against A who K.O'd them in a round each.

Would D be higher-ranked than A? Totally unbelievable situation I know, just trying to be rational about your way of compiling your list :good

assuming B beats C, D and C would probably be close for 3rd...the top 2 would still go to A and B...

A and B would have two wins each
C and D would have one win each

    A and B close fight for #1
    C and D close fight for #3

that is why i put darchinyan above donaire..im not convinced that donaire would beat mijares the way darchinyan did...and i feel that darchinyan would easily dispose montiel as against donaire exposing montiel

Fair enough. But if A beats B easily but everyone knows that D can beat A (even though D has lost to the other guys) does that mean D is higher P4P, even thouh he hasn't beaten as many high-calibre guys as A?

    See what I mean?

yes, my p4p rankings is more of a round robin, the #1 p4p guy is the one with the least loss..because p4p for me is being the best. and how can you be ranked higher when someone else can beat you (the lopez-caballero is a great example) i really can't take a list of having caballero higher than lopez...

going back to adamek, if he beats cunningham i would put him in the same league as pavlik and dawson. because up to now, i'm not confident that adamek would beat cunningham if ever they have a rematch..but my money is on him..

my problem there is when you rank adamek in the top 15, cunningham must be at least top 25
