Where do you rank Dereck Chisora among Usyk's opponents?

What is it with this myth about "a motivated and in shape Chisora"?
When has he ever shown up and been better than he actually is? When have we seen this mythical beast?

He is a gatekeeper for the heavy weight. Nothing special as an opponent.

 

Hunter drew against Povetkin who is currently ranked 4 in the world and is definitely better than Chisora.

Hunter > Chisora.

 

Yeah but Hunter weighing in as a CW isn't gonna beat Chisora when he's in shape.

If these are in prime shape, they most likely will finish Chishora in distance: Briedis, Glowacki, prime Huck, prime Usyk in best shape, Hunter in prime shape, definitely, even Dorticos, Gassiev, maybe even Tabiti............ [] these might finish in distance also Whyte, if they are in best their shape, it will not be even close to fight like vs out of prime over the hill Povetkin 41 y.o.
Cishora IS something special. He is skilled, tough, really very strong and durable, he of course is slow........
Depends what shape Usyk now does have, Usyk had high level fights in WBSS, after this? no. and Usyk does have very long mileage under belt and now he is older too. Will see.

 

You didn't give this option, but I'm voting that Chisora is the best HW that Usyk has faced....once he gets in the ring with him.

 

He is not better than Gasdiev, Briedis, Glovatsky or Hunter.

 

I'd say 4th as well. I do think Glowacki, Huck, Bellew, and Mchunu are superior p4p fightersas well(damn, that's a lot of quality opponents for a 16 fight pro career), but they powered less danger to Usyk.

 

Those 4 aren't beating an in shape Chisora.

 

Yeah, who can beat this in shape monster... Maybe only prime Tyson

 

Loads of people can beat an in shape Chisora.

Haye, Vitali, Fury, Whyte and many many others through history.

I just wouldn't favour those 4 to do it.

 

This will be Usyks toughest fight imo

 

He is not a gatekeeper. A gatekeepr is non-contender who is good enough to beat a prospect and keep him out of contention. Chisora has been a legit FRINGE CONTENDER for almost ten years now.

He is a fringe contender, and a very good one at that. Wins over Sexton, Szpilka, Kingpin Johnson, Scott, Takam, Price, and Pala. A slight majority think he beat Whyte in the first fight, and the entire world thinks he should have a win over Helenius to his credit.

He is a top-end fringe contender.I don't mean to be obnoxious at all with this post, but I want to see the man get his due.
