I don't even think GGG is on the level of a MAB.... Definitely better then Margacheato, but MAB... Nah....
Why isn't fitz on this list? Why do you have guys like billy conn, Barney Ross, pernell Whitaker, Eder Jofre, and terry McGovern on this list but not packey McFarland, Maxie rosenbloom, jack Britton, young stribling, bob fitzsimmons, Harold Johnson, tommy loughran, etc.
Not yet, its still too early to tell. He's made b and c rated opponents look like amateurs though and is more technically sound than most boxers today, has a ridiculous background and amateur record that is second to none really, and he's undefeated and the most powerful puncher p4p. Hes going to make canelo look like a c rated fighter if they fight. There just isn't many big names to choose from right now for him outside all the guys running from fighting him, if this was 10 years ago, he may very well be PPV king. Hes between a rock and hard place. He has to drain down to face canelo, or go up and face ward, otherwise he just wont' get the respect he probably should have. Nobody worthwhile will face him on a level playing field. All i hear from those guys is "i'm not a middleweight" all of sudden.
Spoken like a true delusional Floyd fan, and its actually Floyd fans that are re****ed and prove it time and time again. Oscar was 8 years past his best when he faced Floyd. And yea, he beat a faded Mayorga a year before facing Floyd but that fight with Floyd was only his 2nd fight in THREE years. Which isn't ideal while quickly declining on the downside of your career mixed with the addiction. And lets not Forget Floyd barely beat him. LOL and oscar's trainer for that fight Roach said after that fight, Oscar just can't pull the trigger anymore. Corrales had to lose like 30lbs in a few weeks to face floyd and it was well known he was discombobulated vs Floyd, which accounts for why soft puncher like Floyd was rocking him with almost everything he landed while Corrales previous had a granite chin that held up vs much bigger punchers. Corrales begged Floyd for a rematch where he had more time to lose the weight but Floyd wouldn't give. As for Morales, He only had loss to barrera and a decision lose to Zhahir Raheem , but actually beat pac in their first match up. But Pac also won the rubber match. Morrales wasn't at his absolute peak of course, but was still very active, active enough to take 1 w vs prime Pac. And Pac beating ATG morales (say at 90%) trumps Floyd beating a drained, discombobulated prime elite (not ATG) fighter (technically at 100% but not really) Corrales. And barerra had just beaten Morrales and Tapia previous to Pac destroying him. and MAB Beat Paulie Ayala after that. I remember seeing that fight and was shocked Pac did that to such an amazing fighter like that and true ATG. And then you have Floyd barely squeaking by Castillo (not atg). Those are pac's two best wins vs Floyds two best wins. Pac's best wins trump Floyd's easily.
