Don’t play the p4p game but would say that he would have been capable of standing an have the chance to win against every lightweight or Super featherweight fighter ever.

This. I feel like he's underrated on here because people find his persona a bit odious. In his prime, he was a monster. Fast, incredibly elusive, sky high ring IQ, fairly hard hitting, great stamina, good chin, aggressive, highly skilled, etc. The total package. Had every trait a fighter could hope for and then some.

Have there been others like him? Yep. But he's in that category. At his best (maybe, against Corrales?), he gives any of them a run for their money. Being a douchebag takes nothing away from how damn good he was.

around the 40 spot is fair for the cherry picker who's popularity and money making ability for boxing clearly pushed him through fights, he lost to JLC.
Fitting you should start this thread btw, it fits perfect with your name @themostoverrated
    which he clearly is

    • Has a record of 26-0 (10 KO) in world title fights.
    • Has a record of 23-0 (9 KO) in lineal title fights.
    • Has a record of 24-0 (7 KO) against former or current world titlists:
    • Four division champion I’m thinking he probably should rate higher than many place him
