Ive only seen his three fights against Ingemar Johansson (Watched the first one again earlier also the 2nd knockdown was awsome) and his two fights against Ali and when he beat Archie Moore for his first world title.

I plan on watching his fight against George Chuvalo soon.
So where does he rank as a all time heavyweight?

Not top 10, but top 15.

He lost his key fights to the greats he did fought, but has plenty excellent signature wins against top competition. He was brave, he was able, and he had a long career which he mostly spent as the champion or a high-ranking contender. Only a handful of men did better.

The great / good big heavyweight champs would be beat Patterson due to size or power differences.

Patterson in the 15-20 top heavyweight range.

Sadly, closer to down where I've got Volo than up where I've got Johnson.

In the 15-20 spots, somewhere, granting that I flip them around on a whim, slightly, here and there.

Some where around 15 give or take a few. I think is very easy to just do a raffle for the 12-20 spots.

Head to Head against anyone 200 Lbs or less as either a heavyweight or crusierweight. I like Patterson against most. However he came around at the wrong time, and that reflects his ranking. Had he came along a little bit earlier and been in the mix with Marciano, Walcot and Chalres. I think he can beat all three. He would rank higher same with comming along a little bit latter. I think a younger Patterson may have beaten Liston and Ali.

I got to disagree against a prime marciano I see Patterson losing if Marciano had stayed longer I could see a young Patterson stop a past it Marciano I think your also selling Walcott and Charles short the Walcott of the first Marciano fight would give Patterson a tough time and Patterson would need to catch him the Past it Charles that fought Marciano may give Patterson a fight but I think Patterson would have a chance of winning. And no version of Patterson would have beaten Liston why do you think Cus didn't want Patterson to fight Liston and dodged him for a year and a Prime Ali gives any version of Patterson a tough time with his speed I think your slightly overrating Patterson a bit as good as he was

    Rip City,

Your smoking crack if you think Patterson beats a Prime Rocky Marciano.

    15-20 range

First to regain title, youngest ever linear champ, solid resume, great combination of speed/power/skill. ATG fighter. Underrated.

Liston's 2 wins over him are VERY underrated

I agree. His resume is very solid and combined with his longevity, unique achievements and decent dominance is better than most fighters that get repeatedly rated above him, like Dempsey for example.

Don“t think so, Liston had a huge size and style advantage over Patterson which should be kept in mind.
