Joe Frazier in the Fight of the Century gave the best performance of his entire career ever. But he was never the same since. Other than that. Where do you rank him at heavyweight?

    In the H2H sense?
FOTC Frazier (peak Frazier) is below 1967 Muhammad Ali for me. Peak Frazier defeated "no longer peak" Muhammad Ali.
Even FOTC Frazier is IMO below Kingston Foreman, Below 1988 Tyson, below 2000 Lewis, below peak Holmes (what a fight that would be), below peak Liston....

Think he has a good chance of beating everyone except Foreman and Liston.

Foreman is the only one who had his number. Everyone else is fair game

I rate him highly but sorry to say; SLIGHTLY overrated. He lost the early rounds to a very rusty Ali who looked bad against Quarry and Bonevena, until Ali got tired.

I think the win over Ali is definitely overrated, but it's still the best version of Frazier. And the best version of Smokin Joe gives anyone a tough night

If he meets Foreman at the time of this fight he beats him.

He was a shooting star that shone very bright but burned out quickly, due to style and physical limitations and a penchant to party. Still, at his best, he is a rough damn night for any dude who ever entered the ring, including Foreman.

No version of Frazier beats prime Foreman IMO

I know many people think that and that's why I take little credence in their opinions.

If he had the same fire in his belly that he had against Ali.. He beats a hell of a lot of big names
Or at least take em to Hell before he loses

Would have given most guys hell, I think he’s around number 10 all time. I think Foreman would be all wrong for him but I think he would give Holmes, Liston, Tyson, Louis, Holyfield, Wlad, Vitali, Bowe absolute hell. Lewis with Stewart in his corner would win, but Frazier could catch him like Rahman did.

He literally said at the time of the FOTC. I'd confidently favor Frazier over the unfinished piece in '71.
