Where do you rank GGG at middleweight and supermiddle currently?

Based on his last two performances after the age of 40, he went into the trenches and stopped the courageous Murata in 9 rounds, and at supermiddle he was rediculiously durable and strong, but way too passive and defensive early to pull out a win, even though he had a decent rally late vs Canelo, who was blasting other super middleweight champs out. How do you rank him now providing he will continue to fight?

I rank him as disappointing everybody by having a defensive fight with Canelo for over half the fight in the most important fight of his career. Why bother showing up to do that, might as well have kept the draw and questionable Canelo UD. Now people will claim Canelo was always better. It was absurd. Even more absurd is the fact the judges probably gave him the best treatment of all the third time due to the pressure on them. So he actually had a real shot to win on points even.

Golovkin came specifically to lose. The fix was in, as always with dodgy Clenelo

He's old and can't let his hands go.

He may actually still be able to beat most at MW (not saying much as it's a poor division and most of the fights would be super close) but he's got no business at SMW

#1 at middle but let's be honest, he's slower than ever and past his sell by date. A younger fighter with skills and speed will give him fits right now. GGG is basically coasting on his nous and timing.

I don't rule that out, he seemed to be operating 1st or 2nd gear at the most.

I'm not sure what you mean by a weak division, each guy in the Rings top 10 would be a tough fight for GGG. You have
    1 GGG
    2 Charlo
    3 Andrade
    4 Munguia
    5 Zhanibek
    6 Eubank
    7 Adames
    8 Murata
    9 Derevyanchenko
    10 Lara
That don't look weak to me.

Maybe the conditioning experiment, with his new conditioning coaches back fired. Maybe all the heavy lifting made him sluggish.

Yep, maybe he won't pull his punches in the coming fights. Maybe he goes back to messing folks up again. Never know. If it turns out he went light on Canelo, then he could even fight at 168lbs.

GGG is done guys. He should retire. 160 and 168 are weak ass divsions though so he can win some fights but man he struggled against guys he should easily beat and that was years ago (Derevyanchenko for example).

That weak division, the Super middleweight is what made Canelo a super hero and made him fighter of the year last year. The only problem is all roads lead to Canelo and GGG kind of put a damper on a fourth fight because of his seemingly lack of a true effort to win in the 3rd fight.
