Number 3. But he could be at number 2. No problem.

I'm tempted to put him at number 1, simply because in the last few years, nobody has steamrolled through better competition than Georges; might favor more recent events than what Fedor and Silva did before that. As it is, I'd have him at #2. Serra is the only "bad" loss on GSP's record. His other loss is to one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time.

Silva's losses to Chonan and Takase are a blight, in comparison to what GSP has done.

I agree that Silva's losses are not to as good fighters as either Serra or Hughes. But GSPs last loss was in 07 which is way more recent.

Which is probably the reason that I rank Silva above him. Its splitting hairs really.

With Regards to Fedor well the closest he has came to loosing a fight in years is getting some GnP action by Rogers, where many were shocked he made it to round 2. I would say Fedor has an advantage over them both I would say.

#1 , the guy is the most well rounded fighter in MMA , even though he is imo becoming a boring wrestler you still have to rank him #1 , he is too well rounded not be considered #1 .

    #3.

Fedor at 1 obviously. Silva gets the nod at 2 imo, due to the fact he has dominated the MW division and started knocking mofos out in the division above as well.

Pretty much.. i have been following fedor's career since his pride fc days and i'm disappointed that he hasn't come fight in the ufc but fedor is # 1 P4P in the world.

Silva has dominated his division since he came to the ufc and is undefeated. So i have to put him at # 2.

GSP at # 3 for now. I want to see him challenge himself against 185 lbs much like bj and anderson challenge themselves by going up in weight.

Anderson vs. Hendo, Anderson looked beatable, like he could have been controlled on the ground and vulnerable to takedowns.

He looks like he can be beaten to me by a guy having a good night, right skill set, and gameplan.

GSP, looks like a guy who can be beaten, by luck.

So, GSP #2 in my book.

I ranked him at number one because I truly think Shogun can beat Anderson and that Fedor although great and still top 3 p4p is in a decline in his career now.

I think GSP dominates everyone in his division and probably at 185, and would be stiff competition for the larger Anderson.

    1. fedor
    2. anderson
    3. gsp

anderson's losses are irrelevant imo, his last loss was from 6 years ago and was a freak flying scissor heel hook that could catch anyone, he is a completely different fighter now than he was back then (likewise with gsp being different to when he lost to serra), also anderson has challenged himself and stepped up to 205 and dominated the former champ whereas gsp hasn't stepped up to 185, remember this is MMA not boxing, losses on your record don't have near the same meaning as they do in boxing.

same here, and GSP is my favorite fighter by far. he just needs to go up tto 185 to get the better P4P rank.

I have him at #3 behind Fedor and Penn, but in front of Anderson and Aldo.

IF he moves up to middle and beats a good contender, he moves ahead of Penn IMO. The fact that he hasn't fought anyone keeps him behind Penn IMO. And it is RAZOR thin b/w #3 and #4 in my opinion.

I rate Penn above Anderson for the sole reason that I think he is more well rounded. I believe Penn is the best at EVERYTHING at lightweight, where as I believe there are better ground fighters at Middle then Anderson.
