I know there have been some threads on this, but generally, where would you rank Nard if he accomplishes this feat? Does he surpass Pac and Floyd of our "generation" and does he crack top 10 all time?

Personally, I don't see how I could keep him out of the top 10 all time. His resume would be ridiculous, which it already is with RJJ, DLH, Johnson, Tarver, Calzaghe, Trinidad, etc., a million defenses at MW, wins the LHW title at an old age, then undisputed champ at 50.

I'm not Bernard nut swallower, but he is truly a legend already and this feat would be amongst the greatest in sports history.

You know, I never liked Hopkins, and I'm from Philly, but if he beats Kovalev and Adonis his ATG status would shoot thru the roof.

I don't think he'll do it but if he beat Stevenson and kovalev at almost 50 years old then he's a top 10 ATG IMO.

Depends on what Mayweather achieves in his last 3 bouts. I'd say either guy would be the best of this generation.

NDAs or not, what he's been doing these last 5 yrs is incredible.

The fact that he can still hang at or near the top of the division at the age of 46+ is incredible with or without the TRT.

That said, he's never been a deadly puncher yet won title and was THE MAN in 3 different eras, competing in his 5th era overall.

No other fighter in history can boast such.:thumbsup

Will make no less than 31 title fights.

Shiit, that's only 3 less fights than Joe Frazier had, and 3 more fights than David Haye has had in his career.:yep

LOL. BHOP is already way beyond Pac & Mayweather. They both have to do a hell of a lot for 10-15 years to even have a chance to get close to Hopkins.

If BHOP is successful in unifying the LHW titles I put him in the top 5 ATGs of all time!

24 world title fights for Mayweather and 26 for Pacquioua counting his WBC Int defenses when he was considered the man at 122-126:think

In terms of careers, Hopkins will outlast both Pac and May b/c his style is such that he doesnt depend on legs whereas Pac needs speed to move in and out, and May needs it for lateral movement and CPing.

So yeah, they'll never match his longevity, but p4p, both have matched or bested him legacywise.

I have BHop top 10 ATG LHW right now, maybe top 5. If he does as the OP suggests.....maybe #2 and top 10 p4p in boxing history.:deal

You still can't count losses as adding to your resume

If that was the case oscar de la Hoya is the greatest of all time
