He's always been in the top 50 in my opinion, last night's win certainly boosts his position.

    31-40

Can't erase the bad fights and the fact that he lost to the elites in divisions where he was the same size ( Jones Jr and Calzaghe)

I'd put Calzaghe in around 25, Roy Jones Jr around 15, Hopkins around 35.

Joe Calzaghe is the 25th best boxer that ever lived, in your opinion? :huh

Where do you rate Mayweather and Pacquiao, just out of curiosity?

Both of them in the 16-18 range.

Calzaghe due to his longevity, the fact that he beat elite fighters in his division and the division above, the career 46-0 record despite holding all four titles in his division and the ring title in two divisions.

He's done things very few, if anyone has ever achieved in the ring and managed to put some of his very best performances at the end of his career.

25 is about right for him, if we're being logical and analysing things from a rational viewpoint. I understand the hatred most have for him and his style but ultimately, achievements count and his achievements rival any boxer of the last 25 years.

Top 25. Higher than Floyd or Pacman. Till those 2 stop fighting junk and fight each other, maybe top 30.
