No no ******, I want to hear your lawyerly musings on the standards of evidence. Bonus points if you cite the legal precedent of "Finders vs Keepers" in your treatise.

When gets this mother****er finally banned? :patsch I don´t understand this, in every other forum he would get banned within his first 10 posts, everytime when he posts he gets into racial things, lies around, makes excusses about the defeats of his fighters, etc. what a joke this H.H. is...

So Willard has as much of a claim to have beaten Jack Johnson as say Muhamad Ali has to have beaten Sonny Liston.

Whatever deal he was ofered he clearly had no intention of taking it up going into the fight.

You don´t know more than me, especially in boxing, forget it, Hank. You can go on with your illustrated, childish and totally stupid black propaganda, but that doesn´t change the facts...

I do hate black people? Since when? I didn´t notice/ know that. Only because I don´t agree with you and Clay II and your hyperbolical "Black Power"- ****, doesn´t mean that I´m a racist. I have never write a racist post or so, simply because I´m no racist. I love that, when you don´t know more arguments you come with such a **** or like in the past you leave the thread and don´t answer anymore...

btw, I read his biography, so I know about him...

If he was knocked out he lost.

If he lay down because he knew he could not or did not want to continue he lost.

Either way he got beaten legitimately.

That definitely had no pull on Johnson's fighting. Without the crown, he had no power.

Johnson tried desperately to put Willard away for round after round. He was fighting for his future right to gamble and party. When he realised his current state, the fact Willard had been growing stronger, and that he had another 19 rounds to do he physically and then mentally submitted.

    No dive.

We don´t need to talk about what my forbears did, it was false, disgraceful, disdaining, etc., no doubt about that and I feel sorry for all black people who suffered living during that time. But we can´t unfortunately change this sad facts of history, and when you come up with stuff like that in a fantasy matchup, what should that yield? You get my point? I didn´t mean that you´re wrong, because that wouldn´t be true...

Indeed, so why insinuate that he purposely threw the fight? Either way, Johnson was on his way out.

Same situation as Castillo last night really.

The Mann Act banned the transportation of women across state lines
for the purposes of prostitution or debauchery. It's purpose was to
suppress the interstate traffic in prostitution. I think its passage
had nothing at all to do with Johnson. The law was later exploited to
get him. It was part of the whole progressive anti-sin compaign,
which targeted prostitution, alcohol, gambling, boxing, and other "vices".

"White Slavery" might be an unfamiliar term to some. It referred to
"forcing" young women into prostitution. White slavers would have
been pimps or madams or the gangland types above them.

You seem to be arguing that if a fighter lies down because they are too tired to continue it somehow mitigates the loss.

95% of the time it is the mind that submits before the body when a knockout takes place.

    No.

They banned it because the films tended to cause race riots.
