Counterpunching? One of the very best of all time. I did a post about him on my 'mastering certain styles of boxing' thread, and i used him as my counterpunching example, that's how high i rate him in that regard.

An amazing counterpuncher!! And in his prime a great fighter. In the early 90's the guy was the man, after he upset Nunn who at the time was one of the best P4P in the sport.
He had 2 good fights with McCallum, he destroyed Barkley who was on a nice comeback run, beat the bigger and stronger Prince Charles Williams, I put Toney at the top of the sport back then until his loss to Jones. But then he resurrected his career and had a Huge win against Jirov in an amazing fight! Pounds out Heavyweights like Holyfield and Ruiz and hes still going!! ATG for me!! Top 100 of all time for sure!!
