Where do you rank Josh Barnett in the all-time heavyweight rankings?

Not sure about Josh's all time ranking yet. Head to head he's a handful for anyone not named Crocop but the repeated steroid allegations don't help his career in my mind. We're talking caught red handed. He's even a pro-wrestler so if you don't think he's been using whatever he thought he could get away with you're sadly mistaken. I need to see him win a championship and defend it. He never won the Pride belt and his UFC victory was tainted. His Pancrase victories are impressive but that's where it stops.

 

I'm not ranking just any fighter. I'm ranking Randy Couture, and doing it based on solid credentials. How does that dilute what makes an all time great? MMA is still a young sport. What's great now may be mediocre in the future.

Compared to his peers, what he has accomplished is great. Couture dominated Sylvia from bell to bell, and has a better overall resume. How would Sylvia be in Couture's class?

Some fighters have accomplished more than others, and Randy has accomplished a lot more than most. Right now, he is special. I can't help what his record is. When someone does more than he has, I'll place that persom above him.
