Where do you rank Kostya Tszyu's 1 punch power under WW in ATG terms?

He's probably the biggest puncher in the history of 140, though P4P you got guys like Arguello and Hamed that had better one punch power.

 

Pryor didnt hit as hard as Tszyu with one punch, but Pryor was a devestating combination puncher.

And P4P Arguello certainly had better one punch power than Tszyu.

You can argue that Edwin Rosario was a bigger puncher than Tszyu.

BTW - Uncle Roger was shot when he fought Tszyu and still went the distance. Tszyu's most brutal KO is probably over Jan Bergman.

 

If your watching Tszyu 'Stomp Mayweathers ass' your dreaming, are you thinking of Judah ?? Mayweather would have murdered Tzsyu, I loved Vince Phillips absolutely destroying Tzsyu ...... Kostya had power but was so over-rated as a fighter in my opnion. Pryor, Arguello, Prime Chavez, and Pernell would take him to school

He's not talking about Floyd, he's talking about Roger.

Tszyu was an excellent fighter, the only jnr welters in history who beat him with certainty are Pryor, prime Chavez, Benitez, and Whitaker.

Tszyu would have had a good chance against the likes of Taylor, Cervantes, or Locche.

 

Hold on a second, he must be talking of Roger Mayweather, im sure they fought in the late 90s, 97 or 98 i reckon. You cant hold that up as a great performance, how old was Roger at that point

I'd say Meldrick beats him at his best and i'd add Duran to that list, Duran wasnt a 140 fighter but he could of made it at some point if the fight was to be made

 

I wouldnt bash guys who read 'Tzsyu stomped on Mayweathers ass' and automatically think of Roger ?? Who the hell takes that fight seriously and who the hell still talks of that fight, making out its important ?? When you say 'Mayweather' everybody immediately thinks of Floyd initially, its only after when you remember Roger

 

NO! Duran hit harder. We're talking about a guy that hurt a prime Leonard, and dropped Iran Barkley.

At 135 Duran was devestating, and Duran would have smoked Tszyu in under 8 rounds.

Tszyu hit a great deal harder than Taylor though, Meldrick wasnt a puncher.

Tszyu-Taylor would have been one helluva interesting matchup. The most powerful jnr welter in history against the fastest jnr welter in history.

 

Tzsyu's right hand was a devastating punch at 140 but all round, Duran punched harder .. Duran's punch was felt at welter, middle and Super-middle .. Its an interesting one but i'd go with Duran as a harder puncher
