    Never really thought the super heavies of modern boxing are great. The argument has always been they would just be too big for the likes of Ali. Obviously Usyk has disproved that myth.

    Still hard to put Usyk as the GOAT, but I'm old school. Usyk definitely belongs in the debate.

    At the time of this writing, 71% have him in the top ten (first three categories combined), with almost 13% having him the heavyweight GOAT.

    I for one don't live in the past, it's gone forever.

    Right now, I feel Usyk is the best ever - he's had 6 fights against the very best heavyweights of this generation and impressively won all of them. All were younger and bigger than himself, and he's never had home advantage in any of his pro fights.

    But in reality, we can't really know for sure who would beat who when we compare boxers who fought at different times in history. We can choose who we like and dislike. Some like Loudon have an unfairly bad opinion of certain boxers who they dislike, and like to make long posts discrediting them, always unfairly emphasizing the negative. I prefer to focus on boxers' achievements.
