A solid fighter, and very entertaining, though not someone I'd say radiated greatness. I don't think he'd beat the likes of Lausse, if I'm being honest.

Sometimes the simplest answer is the best, he was a good fighter and all good fighters can be troublesome. But he's a L-O-N-G way from being great.

Thought he was an excellent fighter. Had a fond appreciation for how fast and athletic he was for an older guy who started late. Had a great work rate and a lot of good moves. If his knees had held up better he might have racked up a few more title defenses. His two fights with Paul Williams were awesome and I felt he got robbed in the first one. Where do I rate him ? Tough to say. I can’t have him among the greats only because his stay at the top was too short but he was still a very good fighter

A very good MW but doesn't have the resume of an ATG in my opinion. He'll most likely get in the IBHOF though.

Golovkin would knock him out. Bouncing around with your hands at your sides is a recipe for disaster vs GGG. It would be similar to the Proksa fight,

He was a good fighter and I liked him. I give him credit for accomplishing what he did given that he supposedly started boxing later in life.
I view him as a bit of an overachiever. Kind of came out of nowhere. Saw him on HBO one night, and from there he kept winning...

I wouldn't rank him among the great middleweights though.
