I think it has to be very high all time. As a cautious boxer he has knocked out 80% of his opponents.

So, who at his size punched harder?

Right, if he did not punch hard for his size, MANY ig guys would hit harder.
It is diminishing returns after a while anyway. Think the biggest weightlifters, B-Ball & Football players would hit the hardest?

One of the hardest punchers ever. Top 5 at heavyweight IMO.

    agreed.

And the rarest of breeds as a heavy---a guy that kept his power late. Most hitters have that first half of the fight thing. no late brutal ko's to their credit. Not so with Wlad. He has a bunch of them.

The ability to finish guys late like that is just not something the heavies do. Most play it safe for the decision or coast along. Not this guy and even another rarity to add to that is he does it with both hands.

When you start thinking about heavies with ko power in both hands late most of them stop by about the time they are 27 or when their reflexes diminish just a little.

    Not this guy.

That's just about ALL he's being doing since he was last stopped.Wlad's two fisted aggressive days ended a loooong time ago.

tbh i'd be shocked that he didn't carry his power late considering the way he fights.A better question might be to ask...what other heavyweight fighters that fought so safety first were only punchers for a few rounds? i can't really think of any.

    Yeah ^

I think his meat and potatoes is as hard as just about anyone that's ever hit.

If we're talking torque-fuelled steam-rolling punches, the very hardest finishing blows of hard-hitting destroyers in full flow, there are probably a few guys that drop a heavier boom.

He probably has as much actual power as most of the biggest hitters ever did, but he just doesn't fight like that anymore.

Hasn't he dropped nearly everyone he's faced post-Brewster? He's hurt everyone that's for sure.
Isn't he coming off a highlight-reel KO where he went full-gunslinger?

True. But I think he's more of a boxer-puncher now than a puncher. The earlier Klitscko was more aggressive and used a two fisted attack. Today he prefers to work off the jab while neutralizing attacks and wear his men down. Nothing wrong with that either. In fact its probably what's saved him from getting another loss.
