Above domestic level it's average at best.

He seems to think he's a destroyer though..... given that he can outbox a decent technician like Pascal I'd suggest he stick to jabbing and putting together combinations.

Without that shocking lead uppercut that needs a first class stamp on it :deal

The uppercut is one of the worst punches I've ever seen thrown in boxing, all included from journeyman to World Class fighters to pub brawlers.

Agree with the former though; Frochy has a nice angled jab and should use his awkwardness and length to, as I said previously, walk people onto shots rather than swinging from his heels and falling short.

froch hits hard enough, that if AA is hit flush he won't be able to take it, he's not as classy a boxer as dirrel but he hits harder.:good

    7.4/10 based on a 74% KO ratio :p

Pascal - Were landing bombs on each other. Both demonstrated excellent chins.

Taylor - Froch put him away through an accumulation of heavy shots.

Dirrell - It was very difficult to land on Dirrell but Froch did much better than AA and Dirrell was less elusive vs AA too.

Kessler - Granite jawed badass and Froch still made a mess of him.

I'd say Froch's power is above average amongst the current crop of SMWs but at the higher level his lack of speed reduces the likelihood of a KO.

It's decent but not great IMO. Def has enough to hurt Abraham, not sure how well he takes a punch and can certainly be hurt to the body.

King Cobra: AA sat Dirrell on his arse. Frochy barely landed on him. I think it was a close fight but AA demonstrated more power IMO :good

    Really?

I always thought they were fairly good in terms of power and not far off from each other.

Abraham is a much bigger puncher. By 'always' you mean as long as you've liked Khan.

AA is one of the biggest p4p punchers in the sport.

    Froch has decent-good power.

I think there's a good chance Froch would have put Dirrell away if Dirrell actually traded with Froch the same way he did against AA. Dirrell did a lot more running in the Froch fight.

Also, did AA put Dirrell on his arse? I recall it was a glancing shot that was ruled a slip...

Carl Froch's uppercut is based on Ken & Ryu's uppercut from Streetfighter.

This is what goes on in Carl Froch's head, during fights.

:rofl i can just imagine, Carl Froch in his corner.

And his corner man, trying to tell him...."That he needs these rounds to win the fight"

And Carl will just have that crazy look on his face, and inside his head.....he's thinking about this.

I would of loved Carl Froch to face Kelly Pavlik, when Pavlik thought he was ****ing solid and the strongest man in the world. It used to do my ****ing head in the way people buzzed of his training, smacking stuff with a Sledge Hammer and flipping massive rubber wheels...................

Carl Froch would of beat Kelly Pavlik at his own game, and beat him down badly.

AA clearly hits harder against middle weights. He has a KO over Taylor who was already in bad trouble. AA landed cleanly on Dirrell many times but didn't get the job done.

I still think Arthur is totally unproven at SM.

Plenty of snap when he sent Magee to sleep.
