It´s obvious he´s a heavy handed fighter but he´s not a huge puncher. Show me a great great puncher that has slow hands? It doesn´t happen, its an impossibility to have hands as slow as Froch´s and be a truely dynamite puncher. You need that explosive quality to reach the top punching level.

George Foreman had slow hands, so did Rocky Marciano...........

Carl Froch is no Gerald McClellan. Nor is he a Marvin Hagler with his chin.

He should stop pretending like he has the power of Gerald McClellan and the chin of Marvin Hagler.

Decent power, Decent chin, Totally flat footed and slow.

Not really, Foreman probably had average speed for his size. I wouldn't say he's a whole lot slower than Froch and he's a super middleweight...Froch is slow as ****.

I'd giuve it probably a 7, he has decent power but not concussive power or anything like that.

He probably hurt Kessler the worst he's ever been hurt, but didnt have it in him to finish him off, if he hit harder he'd of ko'd kessler.

Abraham only landed a couple of clean shots on Direll, but i see what you are saying.

people think getting hit by abraham means instant ko, but it doesnt.

    I agree with the Poll.

Good is where his power should be rated, and rightfully so.

Abraham hits harder punch for punch but thats no surprise because Abraham throws 10 punches a round and puts his whole effort into each and every punch. Both feet off the floor at times.

    Hi hater

He's not totally flat footed. Maybe he looks it against guys like Dirrell but Froch has more attributes than peolpe give him credit for.

Exactly. Also people judge froch only on what they have seen in his last few performances. He has skills.

Good but not great just a matter of time until he gets dismantled, decent talent but not a huge name and to be honest I dont think he will ever make a big name, I just dont believe he has enough skills.

I did say he was a good puncher at that level. At World class he ain't.

And if Taylor was in so much trouble, how come it took Frochy **** knows how many shots to make him crumble?

Abraham will hit Froch more than he has hit anyone. He's that poor defensively, and his attitude is that of a gunslinger. People are forgetting that Abraham has shown a very good chin as well.
