David Haye is a prime example of how a "BIG MOUTH TRASH TALKING" fighters achievements gets downplayed. If he stayed humble like a Kessler/Abraham and fought bums 99% hed be more appreciated.

Naseem Hamed was another brash guy, the guy is without doubt HOF worthy (not ATG), but because of his trash talk his acheivments get downplayed....amazing considering he was 36-1 (31KO) 10 world champs beaten etc.

Haye is less apealing because of his mouth and he doesnt have the big promoter like alot of these fighters...the danger is he will be an outcast much like HOPKINS was in his early middlewight reign days....No Setanta....no backing.

Haye is the new Black sheep of Boxing

Deffo top 20, i had him at 17 in my list. Even when he lost he was winning comfortably but ran out of steam. Yet to be outboxed, hard hitting punch and good heart as he showed against mormeck, its only his chin that will prevent him being a true great.

The guys had only two f**** fights in nearly three years. If doesn't get a fight by november, that would be two fights in over 3 years. His just too inactive right to make it in the top 20. An active David Haye, would make my top 20.

David Haye should be recognized as the #1 PfP and the #1 Heavyweight. This is a no brainer. He cleaned out the cruiser division except for a few nobodies like Adamek, Cunningham, Tokarev, Huck, Braithwaite, Flores, etc. He KO'd iron chinned Maccarnelli, he almost lasted 5 rounds with ex-supermiddleweight Carl Thompson. At heavyweight the picture gets even brighter: He destroyed the legendary Tomaz Bonin (only ko'd by atg Audley Harrison prior to Haye)..KO'd in 5 rounds the great Monte Barrett only one year after Monte had been KO'd in 1 round by the legendary Cliff Couser (26 wins, 20 losses). What else does Haye need to do to get credit as an ATG. Seems nobody wants to give him his just due for all these superlative achievements. And now both Bitchko's are ducking and running from him. David Haye might be the greatest ever to lace them up!!!

Karlos, I agree with you. Since Flores said it that's all that matters. And I'm with 100% sure that iron chinned Maccarnelli is a much better win than some slow plodding brawler like Cunningham.

That seems about right to me, but inactivity will see him drop down that list pretty quickly. He needs to get off his backside, dust himself off and put pressure on the robot brothers to fight him now, and he needs to put the pressure on with what he does in the ring, not with bad-mouthing.
