Was at that fight in San Diego and thanks to Troy was able to score some good seats.

I remember talking to Gus Mercurio afterwards and him saying he also came out of his chair when Norris went down. Sadly, he didn't stay there.

Great night though and great memories.

I guess there should be a shift in my proposition :)

Fair to say pretty much all the examples we have given, S Tayloy, T Norris, S Hussein, etc all fought gun and at the top P4P fighters no doubt, although only really K Tzsyu fought them and won. (yes he lost a couple as well) Although i realise now why in my original post i only mentioned KT because he beat them. These other fantastic OZ fighters did great, but lost. So moreso i see if and a BIG IF Katsidis beats Marquez thats more or less where i see it. One of the greatest 'recent' P4P victories by an aussie.

Thanks again folks! :D GO KATS

you wouldnt think this fight is just around the corner going by the Australian Media. Its really a disgrace to Australian boxing when you have a good think about it, why Katsidis doesnt get the same attention in the media as Mundine and Green is just crazy. Im guessing the guys who write all these storys on Mundine and Green dont really have much of a clue in terms of boxing otherwise they would be all over this fight.

    GO Rocky!

No question if Kats manages to pull this one off, it will be a great win (amongst one of the best by an australian) considering the calibre of opposition.

Problem is if Kats wins, people will just say JMM is a shot fighter and grew old overnight.

Another one...Glen Kelly fought a prime Jones Jr. and got embarassed.

Marquez is still a great fighter but is slightly past his prime.

Andries was nowhere near a pound for pound list when Harding beat him. Nor was Jones.

I still think my one punch KO of Glen Pellas-Hughes at Victory Park in Castlemaine in 1989 was a pretty good performance. Probably the sweetest right hand ever thrown.
