Ted kid Lewis. Greatest welter from the UK. Honeyghan pulled off a great upset no doubt. No one predicted that. But he got him at the right time. He was exciting to watch and some of his fights had that controversial bite about em.
Very fair assessment. He looked terrific against Curry but, without going into it too deep, I am with those see Curry as a troubled fighter going into that fight. (I can't go into it too deep because Curry's steep falling-off still puzzles me. I've heard all the explanations. Who knows? Whatever the cause, must have been very unnerving for him.) He didn't look quite right even before the opening bell. Curry's state of mind/health were not L H's fault, of course. He seized the moment. Got to respect him for that.
Very dangerous fighter. His win over Rosi was very impressive. Like others he went power mad in the latter part of his career. Lloyd lost to Starling on the night of my 16 th which really 9issed me off . By the time he won the title he was starting to go backwards.
Many thanks mate, that's taken me back a bit, such kind words, always look foreword to posts my friend, chat soon, and stay safe buddy.
