Definitely top 10, probably top 5. That country has a great history when it comes to boxing.

He'd probably be among the top 6-7. Chavez, Sanchez, and Olivares are definitely ahead of him.

History will most likely put him in the top 5 because of his wonderful Autumn Renaissance.

    1. Chavez 2. Sanchez 3. Olivares 4. Marquez 5. Canto 6. Zarate

If Oscar was to be branded as 'Mexican' then he'd be number 2 on this list.

Behind Chavez, Saldivar, Olivares, and Sanchez. Marquez would round out my top five, with guys like Canto, Morales, Barrera, Arizmendi, Azteca, Zarate, Lopez, Casanova, Pintor, Cuevas, Roman, Chucho Castillo, Jose Luis Castillo, and the like coming next.

Usually debate whether to put Chavez, Salidvar, or Olivares at the top spot.

Greatest H2H Mexican fighters I've ever seen would be an interesting thing to think about. Olivares on the night he beat Rose, Chavez of the Rosario fight, and Sanchez's title winning effort over Lopez and his beatdown of Gomez probably were the best displays I've seen. Saldivar had some bone-crunching performances and a prime bantamweight Zarate some fine displays as well.
