The best lightweight all time. I only wish Mosley had better opposition, so his stock could've risen. Honestly I can see him beating Duran at LW.

Probably number one lightweight of all time, well he is mine, but there are other contenders. For pure ability and 'head to head' in his prime, one of the very best ever, as in there is no level above him, even if you rate others above him. I personally don't see anyone beating him today, though there would be some great fights and classics.

Paul Williams would certainly not beat him imo, not at welterweight anyway, closer at 154, he might do there, i must admit Williams looks improved.

It's a great match up, Mosley comig to fight doesn't bode too well for him though, but his counterpunching does. Still i think Duran's skillset at mid range and inside would win it for him, his defence up close is immense. I luv Mosley's bodypunching, but him fighting like that would likely mean he gets beat in my opinion.

Best lightweight of all time. That of course makes him a top 10 all-time p4p. The fact that he moved up in weight and took the welterweight title from Sugar Ray Leonard makes him top 5 p4p.

Perhaps a little odd to pick up on, but his skipping is insane.

Are there any other boxers who skip like him?

True Duran's defense was better, but Mosley especially at LW was extremely fast and accurate... You know its a toss up. Both were warriors, but Duran was the epitome of the word.

Yeah it's a great match up and a war for the ages, i do favour Duran though rather than it being a toss up. On points though, Mosley is durable as they come.

Must be hugely heavy on the legs, Ive always thought skipping is a little overrated, very little workout apart from the ankles but he does it totally different.

They say boxers power comes from the legs so maybe that is why Durans power was so immense.

Duran is a top 10 all time great. He was a great puncher with very underrated boxing skills, but would have lost to Mayweather and Whitaker. He showed in the rematch with Leonard how much trouble he had with a slick, intelligent boxer with great speed, footwork, and reflexes. Style-wise, Mayweather and Whitaker (who both had better defense than Leonard) would have been a nightmare for Duran as Leonard was in the rematch when he fought his usual style and not the macho style he fought in their first fight.
