Top 3 p4p. Him and Hagler were the last of the old guard of fighters from an older era defiant and kicking the newer generations ass. Similar to what Floyd, Marquez, and Hopkins are doing, but Durans win over Leonard wont be matched in a very long time.

Leonard beat Haggler, Leonard retired, Hearns won vacated title, Barkley beat Hearns, Duran beat Barkley.

You are the dumbass those loses count just like every other fighter's thats why they keep records they dont put footnote excuses next to the W's and L's.In sports you either win or you dont unless you have a draw which he didnt come close to 1of those in those loses......stop ****in making excuses for Duran he's great enough he doesnt need you holding his ****sucker, He quit against Leonard he embarrassed himself his family his country his fan's....he lost to Benitez which Leonard and Hearns didnt....he lost to Hagler he also lost to Leonard a 3rd time, and Hearns strethed him out mannequin style....what he did at LW was not equivalent to his win against Leonard his lightweight resume was not better than Hearns's resume or Leornards....and not as good as Hagler's as matter of fact None of those lightweight's wernt better than Benitez....:rofl

Yes, special person, but he did what none of them could and thats beat SRL. He busted up Hagler fight was close up til the championship rrounds. Guess what Hearns best win iis? Yea, its a blown up lightweight. Not just any lightweight. And you know Durans win is the best one from all of the Fab 4. Not bad from a lightweight, eh?

im not taking anything away from that win....it was a great great win ,but it was a downhill sloap after that....He is certainly a great Atg but he was not better than Leonard, Hagler, or Hearns....and he should not be ranked ahead of them...thats a flawed logic putting him ahead of them when they all beat him and their resumes were better....

How are their resumes better? Who do you think is the biggest win in the Hitmans resume? An old, blown up lightweight Duran. Thats a fact. Haglers? A prime Tommy Hearns who had the size, speed, power, IQ, etc to be the future of 160. SRL, well we know he beat them all. Cream of the crop. And Duran? Again, being with many disadvantages beat SRL at his best and had beaten great champs BEFORE SRL. Beat Marcel, champ who beat Arguello, Buchanan, and avenged loss to Dejesus. If anything its Duran who has the better resume aside Leonards.

Michael Nunn became the lineal champ after Leonard, not Barkley.

Top 3 is a little too high IMO.

Can you honestly say he deserves to be ranked higher than guys like Armstrong, Langford, Greb and Pep?

For me, he's in the top 8-15 range. Had he beaten Hagler, Benitez and Hearns, than I'd have no problem putting him in the top 3.

Prime Duran beats everyone today as a lightweight, even mayweather. Basically even the Duran who won titles at welterweight, light middle and middle would win versions of the crown against today's fighters.

Oh bull****! Nunn was the the IBF champion lol and he didn't get it after Leonard. Hagler vacated it because the IBF was a fricking joke. And he got it by beating Frank Tate. The IBF belt was a paper belt. It was only 5 years old at the time. No one respected it at all.

Micheal Nunn the lineal champion because he got the joke IBF belt lol! You have got to be ****ing kidding me. Do you know **** about boxing mother****er?

Please provide proof, other than your opinion, that Duran was ever the lineal champ at 160. The fact that you need to insult speaks a lot about you.

and you are obviously a keyboard warrior that gets brave over the computer and walks with his head down in public. If you had any intelligence you could google lineal champs and see if Duran's name is listed as a champ at 160 but that is obviously too difficult of a task for you to do.
