Hey theres no reason for language like this. It is a forum and everyone is entitled to their opinions. Best thing is to just make your points. There are plenty of people in this forum that agree with each other, but they still dont know **** about the sport. Just make your points, no need for the name calling, that kind of stuff does belong in the general forum.

I cant figure out why you cant see how fast Jones was and how it effects an opponent? It doesnt really matter how much better Spinks was then the guys I listed, because none of them were competitive with Jones! Suffice to say Jones could probably handle a guy with a higher level of skill right? Thats why I say its friggen impossible to say this guy or that guy would be a lock to beat him.

Never ever said he would be.

Got no problem with someone who picks Roy...Roy is the fastest fighter north of middleweight Ive ever seen, he knows how to you use it and he is one of the best H2H fighters Ive ever witnessed period.

But for different reasons so is Spinks...Just think he is a better lightheavyweight thats all.

Your looking at it one way...Im looking it another.

You say Roy handled bigger, taller fighters...I say thats just one thing he has to worry about against Spinks.

You say Roy's speed will be the determining factor (which it very well could be)...I say Spinks can offset that with the variety of tools he has.

Ok well thats a fair response, and really more on the line of how I feel. Just too many unknowns to pick a clear decisive winner in my opinion.

You're clearly too much of a ****ing stupid, ignorant **** to offend anyone. Or make anything that you say remotely worth hearing. I'd tell you once to **** off and not bother bringing your pestilential, inconsequential bile onto an otherwise decent forum, but I'd never presume to deny anybody a voice or refuse to listen to their opinion, regardless of how ridiculous it might be.

Keep up the good work; we can all do with a laugh every now and again. ;)

No he's not. Marvin had bigger wins/achievements and more of them.

Certainly not. Griffin lost most of his notable fights, and the few he did win (against Toney and Jones) were under very controversial circumstances. He never had wins that were as impressive as Mustafa's over Johnson, Martin, and others, nor did he have nearly as much ability as him.

-The fact that a non-great like Dariusz was generally considered the 2nd best LHW of the era, and was able to reign for about as long as Roy and beat a number of the same opponents.

-The fact that another of the best LHWs of the era (Tarver) was completely crushed by an aging MW champ jumping straight up two weight classes.

-The fact that the division was consistently used by aging fighters above and below the weight - ie: McCallum, Hopkins, both Johnsons, Tiozzo, etc. - to move into and become titlists again.

-The fact that in general, the division featured a number of moderately talented (at best) contenders who failed generally failed to distinguish themselves to any great extent.

Because Roy had such an iron chin?

It has the knowledge that Foster won a big unification fight with Rondon, which was neglected in your post.

    In a rap contest, maybe.
