Where do you rate Vitaly's chin in ATG terms?

I can't rate it. I still have not seen Vitali take a monster shot, dead clean. He uses his reach well and almost always rolls with the punches. If someone knows, name a fight in which he takes clean punches by a big puncher.

 

I agree on both points. Remember when Ali was holding onto Foreman behind the head, George didn't care, he continued swinging away to the body, head, anywhere he seen an opening. Wlad's chin would not allow him to last 8 rounds until big George gassed out, only a handful of fighters would of had the will and chin to withstand that type of punishment that night.

The only styles matchup I think that would be worse for Wlad, would be a prime Tyson. I know I'm Wlad hater, but I give the man props at times as well, but a prime Tyson would litterally murder Wlad. It would be Corrie Sanders all over again, the only difference being Wlad getting knocked out cold.

 

atg chin? based on what? the loss to lewis on his feet? let's see who else he can stand with. nowhere near a chuvalo, ali, or marciano. not even a tua.

Im not convinced that was the hardest uppercut Lewis could throw. 1) Lewis was already gassed by that round 2) Vitali is so tall Lewis didn't get catch Vitali at the mid end of the punch where an uppercut is most effective.
Also, I wouln't consider Corrie Sanders to be a one punch KO artist.. He has heavy hands but isn't at Lewis' level of power.
