Honestly . . . the Boxing Organizatons needs to get their acts together and stop out doing and disrespecting each other now. It has to start now.

Have a unified Champ. The ring Belt for example . . . only title holders can fight for the Ring BELT so that the Ring belt holder can be recognized as an undisputed linear champ . . . meaning at least two title holder.

They really need to figure out the tv for it (in North American, anyway). With more of these "independent ppv's", there's even less exposure of quality fights to hook in new fans. Really, it's taken everything that's been learned about how to marginilize the sport through the late 80's and 90's and making it WORSE.

With the plethora of specialty tv out there, you'd think someone would be willing to front another FNF-type of production. It's badly needed and without it, the fanbase will continue to erode.

Being ridiculously optimistic, I'd love to see a return to regular TV if not basic cable.

I mean, hell, do we really need the reruns of the 2003 World Series of Poker? Play some fights with some decent talent.

Having the Klitschko brothers fight on ESPNC is a dream come true, in a way. The top HW's are fighting on basic cable???

However, we need more exposure to the mainstream.

I doubt the world will be still here then. Humans are so damned greedy they will have destroyed the entire planet, a few rich Republicans will be living well, the rest will be in poverty. Hopefully, the oil companies will lose their control. There is a very small amount of hope, but very small.

    Boxing anyone? Duh.............

Getting crushed by UFC. Dana White knows how to run a business. Boxing is all ****ed up. Sad because boxing is where my heart is but UFC PPV shows are better. I'll watch the entire card. UFC 100 had Lesnar vs Mir, GSP vs Alves, and Dan Henderson vs Bisping all on the same card. It's nearly impossible to watch an entire boxing PPV card. The main eventers get paid so much they just throw a bunch of space fillers on the undercard. I'm hooked on it now. I'll never give up on boxing though.

Well if fighters keep following the Pavliks and Pacquiaos of the world then it wont be doing very good.

However if they follow Miguel Cottos or JMMs example then we will have alot of success.
This SMW tournament is gonna be great. I will try to get some of my friends to watch this tourney with me. Show them why i prefer boxing over their UFC.

Golden Boy Promotions will sanction all the belts. It will be like UFC (the belts are controlled by one company) except it would be better. lol!

Anyway, new talents will definitely emerge. The heavy weight division will start to rise again despite its current situation. The lower weight classes will improve even more.

Golden Boy will buy out all the belts and there will only be "The Ring Magazine Lineal Title" Boxing will still be the 3rd most popular sport in the World, and wishful thinking here, but I will have finished my career and people will be talking about how I am the greatest fighter of all-time at Junior Welterweight (or may'be like Lightweight or Welterweight...one of those divisions lol :D)
