Well Pac wasn't prime btw.. so I'm not sure where to go with the question considering this fact not in evidence.

The two preceding posts say it in a nutshell. Full props to JMM for the revenge that he got, but it wasn't a prime Pac.

Have to agree with those who say it wasn't a prime Pacquiao...but will say it was the best Pacquiao since the Margarito fight...Props to JMM for a great fight!

I think it ranks with some of Holyfield, Toney, and Shane Mosley's best wins.

Up there with Tarver's KO of Jones.

Maybe not quite as shocking because Manny had given more signs that he was on the decline in numerous fights, but still in the ballpark of a KO against a great on the way down who many still considered to be near the top of the game.

If Mayweather had fought and KO'd Pacquiao in 6 rounds, even as late as this year, people would be calling it the greatest victory of the era or something like that.

This era's Tunney over Dempsey, Saddler over Pep, Schmeling over Louis, Clay over Liston, Douglas over Tyson.

A world icon lost. Stunningly knocked OUT with one punch by an old man.

Doesn't happen every day nor every era.

great win but like everyone said not prime. Had he done this to Pacman in the first two fights that would have been more significant. But a good win for him personally, and it does matter if Manny looks good after this fight. That will show if he was diminished or not.

As great as any other victory where we see a great fighter stopped at the end of his prime run.

    I like the tarver comparison.
