He's earned mandatory status in a division 25 lbs north of his. A Lightheavy having success at Cruiser nowadays is roughly equivalent to a three division jump in the lower weightclasses.

    Notable fights:

    Win Pts Paul Briggs
    Win KO Thomas Ulrich
    Win Pts Paul Briggs
    Win Pts Rudi Lupo
    Loss Pts Chad Dawson
    Win TKO Luis Pineda
    Win TKO O'Neil Bell

Top 25 sounds about right. A win over Cunningham ought to judge him in the top 20, IMO.

    What say you?

    I'd say Adamek is somewhere between #20 - #30.

no. Cruiser is such a weak and depleated division that a lhw having success there is not even remotely close to a 3 division jump in the lower classes. And its not like Adamek is a natural lhw anymore. He probably couldn't make the lhw limit anymore.

anyways Adamek right now is not in the top25 p4p imo

He is around 20 for me now, the win over Bell was pretty impressive, despite Bell being past his best days.

I think if he beats one of the champs he deserves consideration for the 10-15 range, imo.

10-15 range,no chance of that happening unless he can go on to beat two more top names in the cw division, the fact he was beaten by chad dawson and dawson's recent performance does not stand his resume in good stead also.id rate him between 25-30.

    Weak and depleated?

Most people think it is one of the hotter division's right now.

People saying that Cruiser is weak right now are just like people that were saying Supermiddle was weak last year, when we had Calzaghe and Kessler fighting for supremacy.

It has a weak history, but there have been some great fights at 200 lbs over the last few years.

P4P it's alot harder to crack the P4P list when you are a bigger guy.Small fighters get too much credit for moving up in weight(something that is inevitable with every small fighter)

you're wrong, I was touting the SMW division since before Calzaghe fought Lacy, and I am now saying that Cruiser is weak
