Makes life easier for some. Obviously most have SRR as top WW. But most would also have Robinson in their top three middles. That makes it frustrating for others such as myself who respect the lists of you guys more knowledgeable than me. I've always always thought it's best to rate per division. Fair point though.

For me I don't rank him at MW at all. Doesn't mean I don't think he's one of the best ever there, just means his ranking is as a WW for me.

    Not sure that follows.

He's definitely a top MW as well as a top WW.

Evander can be ranked at Cruiser and Heavy.

Floy'd best weight may have been junior LW but he definitely merits ranking at WW also.

Just makes life easier for me.

I don't buy into Floyd's best weight being SFW neither, his best performance and victories have come at 147

Andre to me retired too early. He is top 10 maybe, but even there a little short of a career.

He did retire very early no doubt about it.

I think he displayed an ATG skillset during his prime but he's is a few fights short of convincing everyone.

A win over Stevenson would have unified all the belts so that would have been good to see.

Maybe a Badou Jack victory as well?

    Quite a barren division atm.

I know the answer I'm pointing out his resume at175lbs is very thin!Arguably ,since he never fought Stevenson , he didn't even prove he was the best of his era .

Legacy wise he's of course veeeeery short of quantity at LHW, but I think the second win against Kovalev is very good in terms of quality. Not enough to give him a high place in the all time rating at LHW, though.

But h2h, I think he's proved himself a fierce and adaptable competitor.

His resume at 175 is thin, I agree. But over his career he's proven his skillset is ATG quality imo.

I'm not sure how many LHW champs of the past I would actually favour to beat him.

I'd put some money on Jones, but other than that...

Where does Andre Ward rank amongst the LHW fighters of yesteryear

As distinct from his legacy at 168, He doesn't really have anything significant at 175.

He has four bouts at the weight. The first two were wins over non-ranked opposition.

The third, IMO, and in the opinion of most, he lost.

And in the fourth, again IMO, he was behind when the fight was stopped on a low blow in on of the most bizarre decisions in some time.

So, that leaves him with two legit victories out of four bouts, both over unranked opposition.

    Hardly the stuff of legends.
