Like I said. P won the first fight and Margo did not want a straight-up rematch. He wanted the results of the fight somehow taken a way and do the fight over as if it never happened. Yeah sounds bizarre, but that's why P was like "No!"


And besides, if you're supposed to be some proud warrior, you don't have a guy who already beat you chase you for a rematch. Like it or not, that is what happened. Bob Arum even sent Goosen a letter telling him not to contact him anymore about a rematch.

An individual who goes and loads/alters his gloves/wraps should be consider attempt of murter! Playing with peoples careers, health and overall wellbeing is completley unaceptable.

Think about this for a second....with Miguel Cotto as an example.

Cotto, being a sucessful boxer and with what we could call a very sucessful career AFTER he was brutalized with loaded wraps and never being the same thereafter....now imagine how his career would have been without Margarito cheating him? Who knows....may be he would have beaten Pac and who knows.....instead of FMJr/Pac as 1-2 P4P could have been FMJr/Cotto? May be he would still be undefeated....we will never know!

Margarito does not belongs on any ATG list, he should be top 5 as the most disgracefull, cheaters and no integrity boxers of ALL TIME!

Great fighters don't need to cheat to win. Without the wraps he's still a decent brawler. Mexican legends are among the greatest of all time Margarito is not one of them.
