I think Andrade is the most versatile of the lot, Canelo the most proven, Lara the hardest to beat, Williams is the dark horse and Jermall Charlo, Trout are both solid top 5 guys. I think Brook would be competitive with everyone except Lara and Andrade style wise I wouldn't pick him to beat any of the top 5 guys but I think he could beat Jackson, Jermell charlo, Nelson the guys out of the top 5 in my opinion.
Who has Andrade beaten? absolutely no one.. he got gifted the WBO belt after Bayansongurov was stripped for inactivity,. he never beat the real champ. then in about 3 years he only defended against the bum Brian rose lol. 154 is probably the weakest, and most deadest boring division in boxing. Brook would beat them all, it's a very weak division he would clean up easily.
Yeah but it's the manner in how he's beaten people just like GGG he looks dominant and tells me he is at least a top guy. Andrade beat nelson his last fight who is a solid top 10 guy btw. Like I said I think Brook will be competitive but I think the top guys have abit too much for him.
welter is much stronger than 154, Brook is a big welter... yet you really think Brook loses to all the the top 5 at 154????!
Welterweight is 147 below 154 so brook won't be as strong compared to the guys there. One of Brooks greatest asset was his size at welterweight take that away from him and his just a good boxer. Andrade and Lara beat every welterweight if they come up
154 is a strong division and no where near as weak as the wasteland that is 160. The only problem with 154 is that top fighters aren't facing top fighters. I think 2017 is when shet will hit the fan in the 154 division and top competitive fights will be made. Hopefully in 2017 we'll get to see Brook Vs Spence (If Brook can return to 154), or Brook Vs Thurman or Porter. The Welterweight and Super WW divisions are at least 10x deeper and more talented than the dead and rotten tree that is the 160 division.
He has skills, but how skillful is he against tge best talent at 147 is yet to be seen. The jo jo dans of the world really haven't convinced me of anything yet. Now if he performs very very well against GGG, I might have to take that back.. but as of right now, idk.
You can't really blame them. I mean, Golovkin is a nobody and that won't change until he actually fights a somebody.
