Does his power rate among the historical all-time best under LHW? Who had the edge over him in that regard?

Hearns hit harder than Canelo he stopped Shuler with one in the 1st at 160, Canelo doesn`t have any one punch finishes above 154 aside from the hook that cracked Kov and his one shot KO over welter, Khan, neither of those shots matched Tommy`s power, no way could Canelo have stopped Roldan. Robinson`s one punch KO over tough 160 pounder Gene Fullmer is something Canelo could never match, Mugabi was actually bigger than Hagler and must have traine down to 154, he hit hardder than Canelo as did Julian Jackson and G-man, Nigel Benn at 160 hit harder than Canelo too. Roy Jones was bigger and more powerful than 90% of his opponents and bigger and more powerful than Canelo, GGG hitr harder than Canelo.

Probably hardest hitter ever at 168 maybe except Roy Jones.

There were lots of harder hitters than him at 160 and 154.

Should the uppercut that fractured Billiy Joe's eye socket not count? It wasn't lights out right away but that was arguably as bad a hit as any boxer can take from a career standpoint. He'd have probably preferred a flash KO on the chin compared to what he got from 'Nelo.

Stopping Callum Smith, Fielding and Saunders recently doesn't put him in the Bob Foster category .

63% ko pct, isnt bad but lets not get carried away and think that Canelo at the higher weights is like a "prime mike tyson".

Now that Canelo doesn't throw those fancy combos anymore he has started sitting down on his shots more and throwing more power shots.

Tbh it's the only way to fight the bigger guys. They are slower and less skilled so you have to open them up and let your power shots go to the head and body.

Quality over quantity works better the higher up you go

He doesn't hit crazy hard, most of his knockouts are when his opponents are exhausted

I don`t even know what you`re talking about, that is an eye socket caught with a solid shot, big deal.

Canelo has only one punch KOed glass chin boxers.
He doesn't have huge power but every punch he throws has good thudding power.

Canelo hits hard, but he's not about one punch KO power - plenty of MWs who are far less good have better one-punch power.
