At his age and with his movie distractions is he still a serious MMA competitor?

Le said he wanted to get on one of Strikeforce upcoming cards but what came of it I dont know, apparently nothing I guess. Judging by his activity id say he isnt a serious competitor but I guess we will see. I would enjoy Le vs Robbie Lawler. 2 big name former Champs who like to bang and need a big win to get back into title contention.

Fighters show interest in fighting on SF cards but they never seem to get done quick enough. Cung Le rematch vs Scott Smith - make it happen and just like that you either have a more legit fighter in Smith or Le back on track.

Le was finally exposed for being cool kicks. His hands are poor in striking and even poorer defensively. His grappling is well below average for todays level of MMA.

He was asking for the Smith rematch, I think it makes sense because unless they put him against Maneuf which I doubt they will and maybe Lawler.

I don't think he's been a serious competitor since he vacated the Strikeforce title to film movies.

He's just gone as far as he can with his skillset. The Strikeforce 185lbs division is second only to their 265lbs division in talent, and I don't see him ever winning the title again.

He needs to dedicate himself to the sport. Half-heartedly competing in the sport at the level he is at/should be at just isn't gonna cut it. If he really wants to have a go at it, then he should get a rematch with Scott Smith.
