David Haye is already a cruiser ATG since he unified cruiser titles. All of Haye's fights were heavyweight fights by the definition of Rocky Marciano's times. Thus if you include cruiser Marciano into a heavyweight toplist, then you have to include Haye, too.

Those who are complaining about including Haye into a heavyweight ATG toplist have no idea about how many oldtimers (Dempsey etc) are included in such toplists who have achieved far less then Haye.

I don't understand this thread Haye has only had two fights at HW, give him a chance! He did his job perfectly in cruiseweight, he looks fast and strong still at HW.The signs are good as long as his defence and foortwork is.

    Pure speculation.
The same as "Michael Spinks KO 2 Rocky Marciano"

If you have valid counter arguments then tell them NOW.

By the way the median weight of Haye's opponents is 198 lbs.
The median weight of Marciano's opponents is 189 lbs.
    Gene Tunney's opponents: 174 lbs

Anyone putting Marciano in a heavyweight toplist has to put Haye there, too.

Tell me why Dempsey should be in a heavyweight toplist and Haye not.

The guy has some speed and power but many hearts are gonna be broken when he eventually gets knocked completely unconscious by the first solid chinned and decent punching non-shot heavyweight he faces. He is generating interest though, so at least he is good for the sport in the meantime. But at least wait until he actual does something at HW before tooting his horn please. Tomasz Bonin has a shamelessly inflated record and Cliff Couser :patsch:patsch:patsch had a much easier time KO'ing Monte Barret, dispatching him twice as fast as Haye did, and everyone knows Couser is ass.

Haye is destined to be a ATG Heavyweight, he is fastly approaching greatness with wins over Barett and Mormeck.

The thing is Haye is not telling anybody he's an ATG.He just believes that the HW division is average, unentertaining (boring as **** i'd say)and that he can beat the people at the top.
Whether he can or not it will be cool watching him try!.He goes in a fight to finish them off out-gun them not outpoint them.
In HW outpointing is pretty lame innit, other divisions ok 'cos they are faster footed, quicker punches etc they can still be absorbing.

Neck and neck with Ali. One more big win and he overtakes him.
