He is a tall LHW and with 6'3" he is the same height as HW David Haye. And he is taller than a HW like Hasim Rahman.

He already beat Adamek who is doing well at CW. I personally think Chad should move up to CW if he cannot get Hopkins or Calzaghe at LHW.

I actually think Dawson could grow into a really good HW, but for that it would be better if he would spend a couple of years at CW sooner rather than later so that his body has time to grow into HW.

He's stuck, because he's a giant for his weight class yet has chin issues and seemingly doesn't have the power to finish the job against elite fighters.

He's not that exciting in interviews and HBO is not going to throw their money into him due to too many easy comparisons between Lacy and Dawson, they don't want another Lacy situation (or Taylor, or Pavlik)

People talk like cruiserweight is where all the names are, its a terrible division for an American fighter to be going into. He should stay at LHW, theres always going to be new fighters coming through and hes only young, if he plays his cards right he could control the division for years and become a great.

Cruiserweight lost it's validity a bit like SMW, when the top name moved up and out.

To be honest, the fight that makes the most sense is Kessler vs Dawson. If Hopkins takes out Dawson, where are we? Yet another youth fighter being dismantled by an older fighter.

Where as if Kessler and Dawson fight, whoever wins should go on to some level of fame and be considered a very competent boxer. It would bring fame to either winner and wouldn't just be another sidenote in the great careers of the legends still in the sport.

Yes, he is a giant for LHW but are you sure his chin is that bad? Afterall he lasted with Adamek and Tarver (shot and old, but still)?

    Paul Williams.

    Mikkel Kessler.

    Roy Jones.

    Bernard Hopkins.

    Joe Calzaghe.

    Winner of Taylor-Lacy.

That's 6 different routes he can go. He has a lot of options as of now. No need to leave the division.

Hopefully Tarver doesnt take a rematch ill say that right off the bat. I cant imagine Calzaghe taking a Dawson fight at this point and the same goes with the other 3 World Champions at 175 I dont see them leaving there countries especially Erdei. Tavoris Cloud is his mandatory so that may possibly be next which isnt a terrible fight by any means. Glen Johnson II,Shaun George,Chris Henry are fights I can see taking place. Chad Dawson will own 175 for the next 5-7 years atleast.

Paul Williams is not a legitimate option for Dawson.

Paul Williams is a name fighter.

Paul Williams has said he could go as high as 168.

So, make the fight happen at 168....

I'm sorry, but that's not happening anytime soon. I doubt any network would even be interested in the fight.
