outside top ten due to consistent PED abuse, if he hadn't abused them then he'd scraype into top ten.

    Micheal Moorer
    Larry Holmes
    George Foreman
    Mike Tyson
    Mike Tyson
    Riddy Bowe
    Ray Mercer
    Buster Douglas
    John Ruiz
    Hasim Rahman

Great post, Andrew. Glad to hear someone tell it like it is. Yes, Holyfield won some dubious decisions, obviously slammed Rahman with his head to create the most bizarre chunk of evidence of head-butting ever seen (Rahman's second head), and ruled the heavyweight roost only very briefly, during which he fought on the seniors circuit with Foreman and Holmes. Also got a gift against Tank Williams. James Toney beat the hell out of him, in one of my all-time favorite fights.

Yes, I am. Toney was nearly as old as Holyfield, and was much smaller. It was also, I think, his first fight at heavyweight.

In terms of his wins #2 behind Ali.

That being said, the HGH hurts a lot for me. Who knows if it was Evander Holyfield or Even Fields winning those fights.

I would say 5-7 would be fair.

Actually Toney was full 6 years younger.

Was there difference between say Ali from 72 and 78?

Or Roy Jones from 2001 and 2007?

Or Sweet Pea 1993 and 1999?

    Thats 'only' 6 years

Wherever Holyfield ranks, Bowe is above him.

6 years as the man said.

and notwithstanding toney was an outstanding ATG with LHW and CW predigree (evanders old weight divisions).

you step into the ring with a guy in his forties who shares your weight divisions, you aren't facing the full challenge. take a look at wladdie, hes only 38, and hes fcuked.

the one thing about this fight is they were both PED abusers so they cancel each others penalties out.
