Stylistically I pick Chavez to win from 135-140, when at his best. Meldrick and Floyd's style in regards to Chavez can't even be compared.

Yeah and we'll see if Floyd has half the fights Chavez had by the time he was 32. What a totally ignorant statement on your behalf, true to form.

Floyd is not similar at all to Whitaker and Taylor, who are high volume punching boxers. Look at how many punches Whitaker and Taylor landed on Chavez. Floyd will not even THROW as much as they landed.

As for struggling with Lockridge (which he did, though of course he had an injured hand), were'nt you the one bitching here lately that Lockridge is so underrated and that he should be in the HOF? Now that CHavez struggled with him, that makes him overrated? Show some consistency.

LOL@being 0-2. When was his second fight there? How many years after the Whitaker fight? You don't think that has a bit of relevance?

I've already explained umpteen times why the Nelson win was a good win. Nelson got stylistically owned. There is no case to be made for why he does better if it happened at a lower weight class. He didn't get beaten because of his size.

Nelson struggled with Fenech at 130, so what? Fenech was an outstanding fighter. He wasn't struggling with a Collazo level fighter. Nelson later poleaxed Fenech on his home turf to settle matters.
