Where does Froch stand in Best British SMW now?

Tough one- fight wise i think he'd lose to all but collins but record wise its maybe the best.

Benn and Joe are still the top 2.Froch is level with Eubank in 3rd for me.

On consecutive opponents and opposition beaten, Froch has a great case for the no 1 spot.

 

Calzaghe, froch has done more record wise but cal beats him handily imho.
Eubank, prime eubank beats all comers except calzaghe.

Benn, gets beat on points by calzaghe and ko'd by froch late on, already lost to eubank

Funnily enough, my list was exactly the same before the fight.

EDIT: No it wasn't - Collins was above Froch.

 

Froch is number one for me ....

His last five bouts he has fought the top men in the division at there prime with maybe the exception of taylor ..

Last night was boxed to a beautiful gameplan ..superb !

 

Froch beats Calzaghe then?

 

Dont mean to shine a light of **** on froch or nout (im actually a proper fan who watched his last 2 fights in nottingham)

but froch beat a plodder who walks around with his gloves stuck to his face, and occasionally burts with ridiculous power no doubt.

Froch has a good chin and is none for walking opponents down and making them pay late on, he could do this against Abraham but i honestly doubt he could do the same to Johnson, Ward or even a Kessler rematch. He had a brilliant gameplan for the fight and carried it off perfectly, but he is still flawed and any real boxer/mover will prove this fact i.e. Ward.

 

Ummm how does that work. Calzaghe convincingly beat a previously unbeaten Kessler who beat Froch despite being embarrassed by Andre Ward in his last outing! Froch may have beaten the **** out of Abraham but how does that top Joe's win against Hopkins. None of this Hopkins wasn't in his prime and was past it balls. Hopkins may have been the wrong side of 40 but he was universally recognized as TOP 5 POUND FOR POUND WHEN THEY FOUGHT. Was Abraham? Was he ****. All credit to Froch last night and before someone says it I am not on Calzaghe's dick he's far from my fav fighter but these are the ****ing facts.

 

Hopkins wasn't in his prime and was past it.
