Both were in control for the entire fight.

Beating Vlad and Wilder looks pretty damn good especially in the manner that he did. If he beats Joshua and Uysk that would put him right up at the top in my eyes. Think about it, that would be wins over a long reigning champ like Vlad and wins over murderous punchers like Wilder and Joshua and if you add in Uysk who was a dominant Cruiserweight and an amazing pure boxer. That looks good on paper. Hopefully we will see the those fights in the future.

Too early to tell, he is world class, but he exposed Wilder to be another Michael Grant. He needs more wins

Top 15. Beating a 10 defense champion and a 20 defense champion is a big deal. But he still hasn’t beaten a single contender, which makes his case for top 10 weaker.

The Fury who dominated Wilder last night would have given any HW in history a tough fight. He moves so well, used his size and speed brilliantly and was always ready when Wilder threw that big right. Even when he landed it on Fury in the first round, it didn’t do damage because he was prepared. Fury is just so long and large, when he uses his skill and size, he’s unlike any fighter I’ve seen at the weight. He’s also got a great chin and very good defense. Never thought I’d say this but prime Ali would have major trouble with the Fury we saw last night. Amazing guy but he’s still a wildcard. He’s looked great against the best and bad against lower level opposition. A focused and in shape Fury is up there with the ATG’s at HW.

His one win against Klitchsko came at the tail end of his reign.
    Wilder isnt all that.
Calm down and lets see what he does.
This was the same boxer who struggled in his last bout against an unknown.

A prime Ali would beat the brakes off Fury. Too fast and MOBILE.
Foreman if Fury came at him would take Furys head off.
    Same for Liston.

Very, very high. But he will likely never be ranked among top 5 greatest heavyweights because he lacks dedication to dominate the division for a long time. If he beats AJ and Usyk I can't see him staying in boxing for a long time. Holmes, Lewis and Wlad had a patience to defend their titles against Austins, Bothas, Mavrovics, Leapais, Rodriguezes, Zannons etc. I think Fury will just retire - he is motivated only by HUGE challenges. Absolutely amazing fighter and great personality though. H2H he would be at least a very hard opponent for anyone including ATG heavyweights

He has 2 great wins (3 really) over 2 great opponents. Both of which were the top dogs at the time he beat them. He'll need to wipe out some more top ten guys to make his top 10 position more definitive.
He'll be a tricky guy to place on an all time ranking. Now, if he goes on a Wlad Klitschko like reign until he is 40, he's a lock for top 5. He'll have great wins + longevity in that scenario.

Bordering top 20. He also has the chance to change that, be it for better or worse.

Should he beat Joshua, Usyk and then a top contender or two (Whyte/Hunter/Parker ect;). I'd say he's top 10. Should he just get one of those wins he's a lock for top 20 and should he lose embarrassingly to a nobody then I'll have to reconsider.

Fury's on top the world right now though.
