Where does Harry Greb rank on an all time heavyweight list?

    Obviously the weight of most of his oponents is not known so it is impossible to say for sure.

    He scored a second round TKO over 210lb Al Benedict. Benedict had been a white hope who had beaten Arthur Pelkey in the white hope tournaments, but he was on a long loosing streak when he met Greb.

    CBZ lists him as having beaten Hank Griffin but I think this is an error and they mean "Young Hank Griffin".

    :goodyou are quite right old fogey, greb did indeed not grow into a 180 pounder.It averages out however. greb was a 165pounder who beat good guys up to 190, laughran grew into a 180 guy who beat good guys up to 250lb. little micky walker beat a clutch of top heavyweights also.

    it still takes some doing when you put it like that. greb was special to take the guys he did at dick tigers size.
